The staff was extremely helpful going out of their way to make sure I saw the local attractions I came to see. Also, the heated bathroom floor was unexpected in a relatively budget hotel.
I can't say anything bad about it. It was exactly what I wanted for a three day trip to Bodo.
We stayed at Skagen Hotel one night before leaving to the Lofoten Islands and one night when we came back, and got the same room. The room was very confortable and clean. The commun area (library) was very well furnished, with offer of water, coffee, self- made waffle, butter and marmelade.. Elegant, warm and relaxing. There was a very good breakfast with plenty of varieties of food and fresh made omelettes, pancakes and fried eggs! That was really great!!
We had to open the cauch ourselves and make it as bed for the kids and once open, the cauch was not very clean inside.
The hotel was within fairly easy walking distance of the train station and airport. The included breakfast was very good especially as Norway is a very expensive destination for food and accommodation. The staff were very helpful regarding things to do in Bodo given we were staying between seasons. The aircraft museum and walk in a riverland park were highlights. The waffles and jam and cream on offer in the afternoon were a surprize touch.
The check out process was very slow. The outlay of the hotel was a bit confusing at first. The windows can be opened easily.
They offer free coffe/tea and fruit to all their guests in the launge. Good breakfast and very clean rooms. Hotel is very close to the senter of town.
The room was quite spacey and very nicely furnished. The lobby was very cosy and the afternoon waffles were delicious!
The breakfast was very good!
We thought that the wine price for an halve bottle of wine was less!!It's better to have a drink on the bar
The hotel is close to the city center. Friendly staff and a fair price for the room.
The location is good. Our room was well furnished, everythign was cozy and convinient. Water pressure was to die for. Very good conditions for the money.
The breakfast is served in some strange room underground. Afterwards the stuff just brings dirty dishes upstairs. Looks strange to me. Besides it is written, that at breakfast "chefs prepare eggs for you, the way you like them". Well, breakfast is the same as everywhere else.
It is friendly, the breakfast is very good, it's a good location and the staff are friendly and helpful.
It could do with a coat of paint.
Booked.net give 50% off from the price!
You can see in everything that hotel is old/used without any reconstruction.
Friendly service. Excellent breakfast and wonderful fjord views. Very relaxing atmosphere.
folded 3rd bed was not comfortable, beam under the matrass.
Loved the free waffels and coffee served near the lobby. Nice, homey atmosphere.
Rooms could use updating. New carpet, etc.
Great hotel - really good value would- recommend to anyone - free coffee, tea and waffles was a lovely inviting feature - we would not hesitate to stay again if ever return to Bodo.
Arriving on a wet afternoon the opportunity to make myself a fresh (free) waffle with jam and cream and drink a cup of tea in the library was lovely. Location was also perfect for my needs (close to tourist information and marina) and the staff were friendly and helpful.
